Moving Parts, LLC is an independent consulting firm that specializes in managing commodity risk.  We work primarily with food companies to minimize their price risk and maximize their margins.

Most food companies have significant margin risk because commodity prices, which typically represent a large portion of their ingredient costs can increase in price MUCH more quickly than their ability to raise prices to their customers! In short, we work with our customers to understand their unique margin risks and develop strategies to manage these margin risks caused by commodity fluctuations.
